My name is Schalk W. Pienaar and I am the owner of African Plains Safaris. Born and raised in Namibia, hunting inflamed me with passion since I could tie my shoelaces. Quite obviously, I turned my passion into a profession.
As a registered professional hunter I am licenced to guide you everywhere in Namibia‘s great outdoors. Our exclusive hunting areas cover more than 100,000 acres of well-managed game ranches. Hunting in additional territories I can arrange, should you wish to hunt other species or in certain habitats. Be it rifle or bow hunting – I can guarantee you a high calibre experience in some of Africa‘s most inspiring landscapes.
One of our specialties is hunting on horseback. There‘s probably no contact more intimate to nature than from the saddle.
I will meet you personally at Windhoek Airport and be your guide for your whole safari.
African Plains Safaris limits its hunting services to only 15 visitors per year. This ensures that you will receive the best quality service, and our full individualized attention.
